General Guidelines

  • Application Deadline and Timeline: Applications typically open in August and reviewed in October. Unless other arrangements are approved by the EEASC Board of Directors, mini-grant expenses project work, and reporting should be completed within six months of the award.
  • Restrictions: EEASC mini-grant funding may not be used for the personal, monetary benefit of any member of EEASC or individual. EEASC reserves the right to not fund any applications that do not further EEASC's mission or that conflict with EEASC's bylaws.
  • Review and Evaluation Process: The EEASC Awards and Recognition Committee will evaluate grant proposals using a standardized rubric and will recommend a slate of mini-grant recipients to the EEASC Board for approval following each application deadline. Upon Board approval, the EEASC Awards Committee Chair will notify applicants as to the status of their applications.
  • Reimbursements: Mini-grant recipients will receive an award notification letter with instructions/guidance for completing a reimbursement request form and final report. Upon receipt of a signed reimbursement request form from the awardee and approval by the Awards Committee Chair, the EEASC Administrator will remit reimbursement check(s) to the winner(s).
